DVE were asked by WHSmith to create a bespoke solution, the aim was to create 'digital (personalised) Dispensers' to provide customers within WHSmith's UK airport stores, with access to their online bookstore. As well as providing a tool for staff communication / training and a means for real time advertising. As WHSmith involved in-store customers throughout this project, WebSlider was created, with it's adjustable height WebSlider provides wheelchairs access. WebSlider's incorporated camera provides customers with the ability to email their photo to friends and family. Since introducing WebSlider into their stores at Heathrow, Gatwick and Glasgow airport, WHSmith have been delighted with the results, assessment of the project has shown that in-store sales have risen by roughly 40%.
